The Village Table and Tavern opened its doors at the tail end of Summer 2018, just one mile south of Sound Sea Village and The Blue Heron in Duck, NC. Lined with sidewalks and boasting beautiful views of the sound, the mile stretch down Duck Road presents a pleasant twenty minute stroll, five minute bike ride, or one minute drive to food and drinks!
The Village Table and Tavern rightly describes itself as “casual waterfront dining” with “something for everyone to enjoy” and boasts an “approachable menu for all ages.” https://villagetableandtavern.com/
We’ve taken a couple of sunset walks–toddler in tow–to The Village Table and Tavern at sunset since it opened and have been greeted with live music, beautiful sunsets, trending décor, exceptional service, friendly patrons, and a delicious menu. It’s fast become an OBX and Duck favorite!
Check out their casual fare menu and beer, wine, and cocktail list. With tasty starters from $7-$10 (we love the fried pickle chips), soups and salads from $4-$21, handhelds from $10-$15, and main dishes from $19-$29 (there is also a kids menu), we found the options both affordable or more upscale, depending on your mood and the occasion. We’ve never been disappointed!
Given the turnout during the shoulder and off seasons, we expect The Village Table and Tavern to be a popular destination for Summer 2019 and recommend calling ahead to make a reservation! (252) 715-1414.
